About The Photographer

Hi, I’m Matt Morris. My photography journey started when I was small. I was obsessed with watching National Geographic and marveled at the amazing images of animals that I saw on TV and in magazines. In 1994, I tried to convince myself that I’d be a National Geographic photographer one day; but in reality, I didn’t understand photography until I bought my first DSLR from my uncle James about six years ago.

I started out with the usual things, like photographing plants, bugs, people, etc. While in the early stages of creating my own dog training business, I still held on to the dream of photography. Then, it dawned on me, “Why not take photos of the dogs while here for training?” Eureka! Matt Morris Photography was born.
